Sir , In case of Inland , Dependent Branch whenever the head office Sents the goods at Invoice price and such goods are in transit the Unrealised profit should be shown as which entry sir 1) Branch Adjustment A/ C. Dr. To stock reserve Or 2 ) Branch Adjustment A/C. Dr To goods in transit A/C. Which Entry is Correct ? Reason sir .

In ex 17.1 see second bit and its solution It is wrong Also in 17.2 getting 2 sundays out of 15 dates is 2/15 which I think because therd is a chance of 1st 8th and 15th dates being sunday

When the question says, discuss the accounting treatment without specifically asking for journal entries... then we can answer in statement/workings format OR in journal entries... any one will do?

It depends on the kind of question. Generally where accounting treatment is asked, you have to explain provisions and conclusion. In some cases, you can add more by way of Journal Entry (working may be needed to compute amount)
