Option Premia

In LDR notes, it was mentioned not to take premia on strike price, but in this question we computed on strike price. What is the reason? Logically if we see, premium is paid on day 0, shouldn't we consider spot?

As far as ICAI problems are concerned yes

In Illustration 12, we added points to the last 2 decimal values, For example, 1.4650 + 5 points 1.4655 whereas in Illustration 22, we added directly to first 2 decimal values. For example, 52.6 + 20 points 52.80 How do we know whether to add to first 2 decimals or last two decimals?

Sir if it is Insurance expense will allocate equally based on no of days, But in case of advertisement expense we have to recognise immediately, why we cant allocate, How to distinguish, like advertisement expenses also can be deferred in annual FS if prepaid right

latest answer

Insurance provides you benefits in future - risk coverage. Hence prepaid expenses. Advertisement doesn’t. The question to ask is at financial year end, what all can we show as an asset?
