Sales related doubt

Costing

answered on 08-Apr-25 10:01

While solving this i.e que (b) why we find first pv ratio and all that, however we can just add all costs and add 20% on sales which is as per direction of que only

latest answer

Here we used desired sales formula = (Fixed cost + Desired profit) / P/v Ratio. We need to use the formula for finding desired sales.

IB JPY Fixed

AFM

answered on 06-Apr-25 17:58

Simple question that why IB will agree, IB is getting JPY Fixed at 2% then why will it agree to take at 2.25% , agreed that overall cost will come down but as a company i will not choose costlier option and i have to even pay 0.25% of commission so in net i am paying 2.5% instead of 2%

THe question to ask is how much would seller incur to sell? If the seller does not incur costs, it is not considered
