CONSTANT MIX POLICY
AFM
answered on 27-Mar-25 12:13
Sir @12mins 38secs in this Video you are saying "That the Graph for the Constant Mix Policy will look like a concave curve and there will be a Dip at the end, because when the share price keeps on increasing we would have sold everything and majorly it will be only bonds" But if we are Rebalancing as per Constant MIx Policy means we'll be maintaining the Ratio of Share (Equity) and Bonds right? Then how can at last we would have Sold every Equity? Are you saying No.of shares we hold may have decreased or we would have sold every Shares at last if price keeps on increasing? Do you mean like the value of 1 shares itself would have crossed the Bond value so to we'll sell it off?
latest answer
Yes From a theoretical perspective finally u may left with just 1 share and then u sell it and then it will be only bonds

Wt if mr M failed to sell the securities to public? Whether exit option given to him or not
latest answer
ok. Well same logic applies here. He cannot backout from selling shares to public after the offer is made to public. He will be bound by the contract.

Sir For instance Selling Company have incurred some Expense on a Research on a product and When the Buying company bought the Selling company, still it is in Research or Has entered into Development phase. So can the Buying Company Capitalise the Research Expenses incurred by the Selling company. I have attached a Picture. Does the picture attached below Says that the Research Expense can be capitalised?
latest answer
You will understand this in INd AS 103. If we are buying another company which has done some research, we are attributing some part of payment to this research. And hence it is recognised.
