Repayment of Loan

AFM

answered on 18-Mar-25 13:24

Sir, can we make an assumption that out of 250 lakhs, 150 lakhs is funded by the govt (as given in question), so the outflow in year 0 will be 100 lakhs and in year 15 it will be 150*0.315, i.e., 47.25 lakhs. Is this appropriate?

latest answer

Okay sir understood, thank you.

Ind AS applicability

Financial Reporting

answered on 16-Jun-25 10:52

In question no.3, why we do consider ₹600 crores as on 31st march, 2015 made applicability of Ind AS for Company C (unlisted) beginning on or after 1st april, 2016. Instead Co. C is already achieved networth of ₹400 crores as on 31st march, 2014 which comes under Phase II, hence the applicability of Ind AS for company C should beginning on or after 1st april, 2017 only right?? then why in the answer it says, Ind AS applicable on or after 1st april, 2016???

latest answer

if company falls in. phase 1, apply from 1-4-2016 Else from 1-4-2017

Why was the principal, paid at the end of year 2, not deducted to arrive at the balance of financial liability?

latest answer

You can assume that even interest was not paid and solve it accordingly. But we cannot assume that principal was paid on 31st Dec since on this date the renegotiation happened. But in exams follow what we discussed in class.
