Hello sir, I hope you all are fine . Sir in this question the assessee business is manufacturing and he is paying tax under out of default tax regime so, can we claim additional depreciation on that additions purchased even if the question doesn't disclose that it's not a second hand asset (or) should we have to take assumption that additions made are new asset and claim additional depreciation ?

Sir, Why some Companies Issues bond with more Coupon rate than the Market value Of bond ?

Why are the carrying amounts considered as the tax base?

It is assumed that the carrying values of the assets and liabilities in books of seller was equal to the tax base. If the question had given information about tax base, we would have considered that.

What is the impact of Rent free period on ROU and lease liability? Will interest liab be accrued during RFP, although lease payment starts after RFP? Please throw light on this. Term 24 months including 6 months RFP, monthly payments 10000,Interst 12℅pa, we have to calculate pv of annuity for 24 months, am I right? Interest liability will start from first month itself, but payment from 7th month.. Please correct me if I wrong.
