GRASPING OF CONCEPTS

Indirect Taxation

answered on 10-Feb-25 12:33

sir as i am attending both the groups should i finish the classes of TAX ( gst +inc tax) by watching the videos fast by spending 12 hrs per day & revise it daily by practice of problems OR watch it slower by watching 6 hrs a day and then practice problems accordingly. which would be better option for grasping the concepts?

latest answer

Try to revise along with classes itself and solve questions simultaneously. It would be better.

Why are you deducting 1 while doing premium per share considered at 18% growth i.e (114.76/75)-1. Sorry Sir I did not understand that

latest answer

CMP is 75 Price @ 18% PAT = 114.76 Premium = 114.76-75 = 39.76 Premium % over CMP = 39.76/75 x 100 = 53.02% It can be computed as (114.76-75)/75 x 100 = 53.02% which is same as (114.76/75 - 75/75 ) *100 = (114.76/75 -1 )*100 Same thing eitherways

The company can only enforce the liability on shares, meaning it can ask shareholders to pay any unpaid portion of their shares if the shares were not fully paid at the time of issuance.

Difference in fair values as on settlement

Financial Reporting

answered on 20-Feb-25 18:54

Timestamps: 14:23 (and 08:40) Sir, here the entity has accounted, and later settles, as equity option. Nevertheless, why is it required to account for the difference in the fair values of options as on settlement, since we learned that the entity shall recognize equity component at its fair value as on grant date, and shall not revise it subsequently for any changes in fair value?

Got it! Thanks, sir.
