If videos are not playing try the steps below 1. Close all the apps 2.Android: Settings -> Applications -> 1FIN-> Storage -> Click on 'Clear Storage' and 'Clear Cache' 3. Restart device 4. Open 1FIN app and play the video If this also does not work please try the below troubleshooting steps, it usually works. Also, note that the downloaded videos if any will get deleted in the process. 1. Uninstall the app 2. Restart phone (Important step, clears a lot of issues) 3. Install app Also, check if there are any OS updates available. If this does not work, then please do the following 3 steps and share screenshots and videos with us by a reply email to the ID - support@indigolearn.com 1. visit speedtest.in and take a screenshot of your internet speed and share it with us 2. visit whatsmyip.com and take a screenshot of your IP and send it to us 3. take another phone and make a video recording (<20 MB) of the error you are facing on your phone/laptop and share the video recording with us Once you share the above 3 we shall connect you with our Tech Team Thanks Team IL

Forex - Illustration 17

AFM

answered on 13-Jan-25 21:25

Sir, in this question, why interest rate parity (like in Illustration 16) formula is not used and ideal depreciation rate is used? As it'll make a small but a difference in forward rate (0.6681 vs 0.6683 because of annual compounding vs quarterly compounding)

latest answer

Ok sir Thank you for clarifying!

Illus 11 & 12

Financial Reporting

answered on 15-Jan-25 13:02

Dear Sir, With respect to Inventory adjustment in CFS, Illus 11: Inventory has been restated using Closing rate (being an asset) = 12 Euro * 85 = ₹1020 Cost of Inventory (given in question)= ₹830 Unrealized Profit = ₹190 (1020-830) Here, Gain on sale as well as gain on restatement, both has been captured and eliminated as "unrealized profit" Illus 12: Sale = 4.2 Euro Cost = 2.4 Euro Profit -= 1.8 Euro Here this profit has been translated using transaction date. Why the approach done in illus 11 can't be applied here as follows? Cost = ₹199.2 (2.4*83) sale = ₹348.6 (4.2*83) Inventory as on purchase date - ₹348.6 (4.2*83) Inventory as on 31-3-x2 after restatement - ₹352.8 (4.2*84) Unrealized profit = ₹153.6 (352.8-199.2) Why the exchange difference on inventory due to restatement considered as unrealized profit in illus 11 & not in illus 12?

latest answer

In the first case parent sold to subsidiary. So inventory is in Subsidiary books in Foreign currency which has to be converted back to parent's currency. In the second case, Subsidiary has sold to parent. So there is no restatement of inventory.

Spot price of index- illustration 25

AFM

answered on 13-Jan-25 17:44

Why gain is computed by comparing 2450 index value with forward price? Is 2450 is spot or forward price? Can I compute the forward price on 28 th day, by considering 2450 as spot price and 62 days as no. of days? If I do so I got forward price as Rs. 2460.0205 [2450 * e^(0.0241*0.1699) ]. Where t = 62days/365days. And comparing it with previous forward price of Rs. 2303.6484, gain on long position is Rs. 156.3721 [2460.0205-2303.6484]. Is this computation is correct?
