instead of revaluing the new asset later can i revalue the old asset i.e rs. 2000 to 5000 at the time of exchange and show the new asset it an increased price ? [Video Time Stamp: 03:29]

If the entity is following revaluation model, it can be done. Please note that revaluation is to be done for entire asset is a particular class.
