In q3, answer is option c as per ICAI material Given that it is an exporter, isn't it likely that Audit Procedures were performed to determine if exports were genuine, as a result of which a statement of dispatch of overseas consignments was made? Valuation of Stock in Suspense

Costing

answered on 30-Dec-24 15:35

Dear Sir, At what price will the stores record the goods returned back from the production floor to stores to be kept in suspense ? Is it the Issue price at which these goods were issued ? Again when these goods in suspense have to be issued will they be issued at the recorded price or according to FIFO / average price ?

latest answer

Goods returned to the store are usually recorded at the same issue price at which they were originally issued to the production floor. For reissue - if suspense is tracked separately, you can use FIFO from the inventory in suspense

Is all those physical asset , gold and other specified prima facie cannot be classified as Financial Instrument and thereby it is neither FA nor FL.

latest answer

Physical assets are not based on contracts. Ownership of gold or real estate represents a tangible possession, not a contractual right or obligation. For example, holding gold does not create a right to receive cash or another financial asset from another party. So it is not a financial asset. However derivative contracts on gold can be financial instruments.
