Inception Date for Reassessment on Modification
Financial Reporting
answered on 04-Apr-26 11:02
"if the lease would have been classified as an operating lease had the modification been in effect at the inception date" Based on this, shouldn't we consider the modification on the inception of the original lease? So the lease term would be 3 years in this case yes? [Video Time Stamp: 16:08]

Ind 116 - Dealer Lessor - Self Practice Q
Financial Reporting
answered on 04-Apr-26 11:05
In the self practice q (after Q47) Revenue has been considered as Lease receivable less the PV of UGRV. I get the underlying logic behind it, as no market rate has been given However would this presentation be good enough in exams? Or do I have to go the long way and calculate the PV of lease payments again? (which is causing some rounding differences)

Its convenient, Bcz to recap a specific part, We can seek the time bar after the video hadls ended. But in Landscape mode it automatically switches to next. Hi Jagadeesh Jaidev Currently, we are facing a technical problem showing the 'Next Video' box in landscape mode. That is why it plays automatically for now. We are working to fix this in the next update. Thanks for your patience

Cost sheet
Costing
answered on 06-Apr-26 15:53
Why interest and finance charges are included as part of cost sheet in this question
latest answer
In this illustration, the question explicitly says: Interest and finance charges paid (for usage of non-equity fund) and then those are included under Cost of Sales. They are included in this question because the illustration intends to present the full cost of sales including financing, not just manufacturing cost — even though, technically, financial costs are not part of factory or operating cost under standard cost accounting practice
