abnormal items are excluded to calculate normal rate of gross profit. So if closing stock has some abnormal items or sales have some abnormal items, we deduct them to arrive at normal gross profit.

Way of mentioning the ratios
AFM
answered on 26-Oct-24 06:12
Sir in class ratios are mentioned Acquirer : Target (5:6) in this problem, similar way is done for problems till now in class videos, but in Icai study material, its like reverse way mentioned in most places 6:5. I know that we write what it means, that for every 5 shares of target co, 6 shares of acquirer, so this reverse will be an issue , despite writing what ratio means ?
latest answer
When eps ratio is 5:6 or say ₹50:₹60 Swap ratio is 6:5 that is 6 shares of A for 5 shares of B I explained this logic too in class ICAI in certain questions is directly providing swap ratio as 6:5 that’s all

answered on 25-Oct-24 20:51
Sir, In INR borrowing, i need to buy Rs. loan which means banks sells Rs. so Buy rate is applicable ie is 35.9?
latest answer
No IN INR Loan, you are borrowing Rupees and converting into USD When you convert to USD it means you are buying USD When you buy USD banker is selling USD USDINR - This is a direct quote, and USD is the base currency. So, in this banker will bid to buy USD and use ASK to sell Base currency i.e USD So, when you have to buy USD banker has to sell USD So relevant quote is Ask
