Sir in this question- 17. "exchange rate declines by 10% over 3 months" means.....yen depreciates or rupee depreciate?. As per my understanding, because I am an importer I have risk of appreciation in foreign currency and depreciation in home currency. So..I can consider that rupees is going to depreciate by 10% in 3 months. thats why I want to enter into forward contract. Please correct me if I am wrong.

DTA/DTL
Financial Reporting
answered on 27-Oct-25 09:19
In the first example, we are paying more tax in Q1, which is correspondingly offset in Q2,3,4. So if we pay more tax today for a future liability it is in the nature of DTA right? Subsequently also it is only DTI against the losses and not DTE.
latest answer
When we pay more tax today - it becomes a DTA. Subsequently when we pay less tax - it is reversal of DTA. When we reverse the asset - it becomes an expense.

In this question why are we taking 221 lakhs and apportioning for borrowing costs instead of taking 200 lakhs of loan amount and apportioning to find borrowing costs?
latest answer
It like for a total expense of 221, we borrowed 200. So we are splitting interest incurred on200 in the ratio of cost incurred.
