In the given question, while it is logical to take annual demand for raw material after deducting the stock of raw material as we are calculating order quantity. However while calculating Avg consumption should we not take the whole requirement of raw material for the production including those in opening stock? For Calculating max or min consumption, does the source of raw material (opening stock or purchased during the year) matter? Kindly explain. thanks

While the answer is little illogical you need to be aware that at some place a different working was done by the icai

Audit in case of proprietary financial interest

In SA 402, Audit consideration, the third point I.e, audit in case of proprietary financial interest, Could you please provide some examples to it?
latest answer
If an auditor owns shares in a company they are auditing, this creates a propriety interest. SA 402 focuses on the relationship between a client and a service organization, not on the auditor’s propriety interest. For such matters, ethical guidelines, SA 220 etc provides guidance. Not 402.
