if 100 bags of rice are in transit and the buyer receives first 50 bags and remaing 50 bags are in transit . during this times seller got the news that buyer was insolvent then can he excercise his rights on remaining 50 bags after all the transit is ended

In the last illustration of the second part of the illustration regarding the pre-construction period, the deduction under Section 24(b) is 33,000, right? That is 15000 + (90000/5). But in the solution, it is given as 21000. Clarify the working, please.....

wrong calculation

Hi sir, i feel there is a calculation error here. please correct me if iam wrong. the expected pay off i.e 7.6*76% = 5.776. but you mentioned it as 5.75 so that the PV of it also comes to 5.776/1.05 = 5.50. but i could not understand how in excel the answer got wrong while you were doing. please let me know whether what i did is correct or wrong

I made working in excel exact values are P = 75.636% Rs.5.7483 and PV is 5.467 These are excel values and hence you may get minor differences when you solve by taking no decimals

In illustration 3, The property is purchased on May 1st. So when calculating rent received, the actual amount received on let-out property is for 11 months, no? and the property has been vacant for 1 month. So will the actual rent received be for 11 months or 10 months? In the solution it is calculated for 10 months.

Take each value of old price index from 1990 and divide by 114.2 ( 1995 value ). You will get new values which will match with last column ie splice index number
