Acer Ltd SUM why OP balance is paid ?

Financial Reporting

answered on 01-Aug-24 13:43

Sir, we have considered the opening balance of leave available I.e 3 and added 10 and reduced 9 days leave availed That Rs.65,00,000 is for the op 3 days only right. Closing balance comes to rs.22060500 so we could create provision for balance 15560500 right And I also think it is actuarial loss from 15k to 16.5k salary hike OCI loss please clarify sir

latest answer

The net impact is - 15560500 Leaves are generally utilised on FIFO basis so we assume that the previous year leaves have been availed. since we pay salary even when leave is taken, we showed it as a payment entry. The increase in salary is not a change in actuarial assumption.
