I'll 10 while computing pre acquisition dividend we r calculating on 15/4 /x1 purchased shares Generally v should calculate on opening balance only becoz dividend for 31/3/x1 Shares bought on 15/4/x1 how we can take

Dividends are paid on all shares held on record date and not for shares held at the end of financial year.

Sir, what is the difference in illustration 7 & 8 .In illustration 7 we did one more step by computing Face value to Rs.10 and found the return 16% however in illustration 8 we dint do that step . What's the difference sir?

Page 10.95 Illustration 7 The functional currency and presentation currency of parent P is USD. In this question I assume that invoice is prepared in USD. If invoice is prepared in Euro then parent P should take the conversion rate of Euro on year end date and account for the exchange difference. Am I correct?

why depreciation costs involved in the production of inventory are added to the cost of inventory as well as provided as depreciation in profit and loss? Isn't double accounting apart from the matching principle concept?

Hi Sir, In the above problem, Illustration 52, while calculating interest accrued, why is interest accrued not calculated on 9.5% GOI 2021 and 8.5%SGL 2025 bonds?

Their int payment date is 30th june - we are computing nav as on 1st jul -r u suggesting we accrue int for 1 day?

Say you purchase FR and Mock Test papers. FR is 10,000 and Mock Test is 500. Total discount offered is Rs. 1000. So final price is 9,500. However if you purchase FR independently, you will get at 9000. That is to say no discount on mocks. So we will attribute 9000 towards FR and 500 for Mock test papers. Discount is not allocated to Mocks.

Hello Sir, A general question, In this problem, the 4th part mentions the alpha, If the 4th question was not given, there is no clue we have to use sharpe model right? Or is there any? How to figure out we have to use sharpe model for finding beta and not other formulae
