Doubt on Illustration 21 in the video. The allocation of impairement loss differs from Institute Study Material. For machinery A you have taken the carrying value after impairement loss in study material carrying value before impairement loss is taken. Which one is correct. But both are correct. But which is the best way to allocate the loss.

latest answer

First individual machine should be impaired

Can someone explain me how Tolerable mistatement is linked with performance materiality?

latest answer

Material misstatement is there but it is tolerable i.e Acceptable. Tolerable misstatement always below the performance materiality. Suppose Auditor set performance materiality bench mark as 500 Lakh. Let say 450 Lakh is tolerable.
