I found this qsn & have doubt in this this In Jan all loan repayment was made Feb new loan taken, hence interest will start from feb for the expense made after loan has taken and not for expenditure made before Then why on upto jan 15% pa interest is charged

latest answer

Yes. But again reached overdraft subsequently. This overdraft would have been avoided if the capital expenditure was not incurred.

Doubt?

Financial Reporting

answered on 22-Feb-24 18:53

When We Take an asset on lease we show it as Financing Activity isn't it? When we take an asset on lease and we give it to sub lease can we show transactions in Net basis (as i'm thinking it falls under exceptions)

latest answer

Sub lease is investing activity.

Is my Interpretation is correct?

Financial Reporting

Loss of Control means Holding investment below 50% isn't For example:Before Change we hold 75% and after change 65% as it is not loss of control we show in Finance Activity If Before Change it is 75% and after change it is 48% it is loss of control so we show in Investment Activity isn't it

Illustration- 24 Sir, I could not understand why the Present value of tax benefit on differentiation between amortization of 9 and 6 is added to the cost.. can you explain me that part.. 9 was supposed to be amortized over 6 years, but we are taking the entire deduction now so the entire 1.5 over the next 5 years will be of loss to us and tax benefit of the same should be added to the cost instead of the adding the tax benefit of difference 3?

latest answer

a. We are adding new tax benefit on account of full w/o now b. We have to subtract tax benefit lost becuase there will be nothing to w/o c. We will have expenses of new bond that can be w/o that is a benefit We are treating a separately we are treating b-c separately
