Auditing
answered on 07-Feb-24 18:45
In this video only Hidden liabilities only explained not there anything about Over or under valuation of assets
latest answer
Overvaluation is when assets are shown at the value more than the actual value. Fictitious assets recorded, Assets not considered for impairment when required, closing stock being overvalued (actual value 20000, recorded at 70000 to increase profitability etc.)

TDS & Income tax on salary plus compliance
Direct Taxation
asked on 07-Feb-24 15:51
Hi Does anyone know if Income Tax and TDS on Salary of a public or private ltd employee are both applicable at the same time? I'm sort of confused cause I know income tax calculation plus TDS as well. But how to present them. I developed my own philosophy about this: Taxable income-Income tax= Take home salary-TDS 192b which means the entries can be like Dr. Salary expense Cr. TDS Payable Cr. Income tax payable Cr. Salary payable? or if the formula can be like? Taxable income - (Income Tax -TDS) = Take home? Sheet 2 shows both TDS & IT computations

Hello Sir, In this problem, Data has been given until 2022. Meaning 2022 is over. And they have mentioned growth rate for the next 3 years. Should we not consider the next 3 years starting from 2022. Y1 - 2022-23 Y2 - 2023-24 Y3 - 2024-25? Why have we taken next 3 years from 2021. In the answer, 10% growth rate is used only for 2 years.
