Good evening sir. I have a small doubt in illustration -5. In the question, it is given that attrition rate per annum is 6%. So, for calculation of Carry forward leave as on 31st march 20x1 - we took only 329 employees- this is understood. but next year also, the same would happen right? 329-21 will leave + 21 new will join, so again we need to calculate only for 329 right as on 31st march 20x2? but we have calculated for 329 old + 21 new. why is that so? [Video Time Stamp: 15:12]
latest answer
We are splitting into two parts since the older employees have carried forward balance. so 329 computation is separate and 21 is separate.

Indian laws are law applicable before commencement of constitution. So section 4a definitions will apply to Indian laws only? [Video Time Stamp: 08:08]
latest answer
"Indian laws" are not restricted only to laws applicable before the commencement of the Constitution; the term encompasses later laws as well. Therefore, the definitions referenced in Section 4A apply to these subsequent laws too.

The price of the machine is 390000 every month paid 11000 over 36 months .If interest rate is 14%. How should we calculate to get principal and interest amount separately. What is the formula
latest answer
We have a formula for EMI Loan / PVIFA This formula ensures closing balance after 36 months is zero in this case @14% int EMI works to 13329 ( 390000/ (PVIFA ( 36 , 14%/12)) Principal repaid changes every month total principal will be 390000 and interest will be 13329 x 36-390000 =89,844 You can compute and check
