Corporate & Other Laws

asked on 12-Oct-26 10:12

As stated in the lecture and in the provision of this section, promoters of the company are forbidden for issue of sweat equity shares, but if a person resigns as a promoter after 2 years of incorporation of the company and joins the company as a director, such person can be issued sweat equity shares or not?

Sir the binomial model does not depend on the path right, why does the explanation in the answer say so. And is BSM path independent or dependent?

latest answer

In a fixed income / MBS question: binomial tree = path-independent cash flows; Monte Carlo = path-dependent cash flows. In an options / BSM question: binomial = steps through the path; BSM = path independent. Either way, BSM is never path dependent. IN MBS: Here, path dependence is about the security’s cash flows. Do the cash flows at a node depend on how rates got there? No hence the CF are not path dependent

in provided book extension of contract due date on 14th june. how do we get forward rate if 14th june is extension date but in question only 4th and 6th dates are provided upto july. [Video Time Stamp: 07:20]

latest answer

Assume June data given for 6th April pertains to 14th June. It is poor drafting of q by icai - in this entire fate of forwards topic they have made this mistake. I mentioned it in one of the problems too
