Should we compute PV ratio for each product or calculate total contribution and then divide by total sales? Plz reply ASAP

I did by total contribution and total sales and I got diff pv While sir did pv for each product and multiplied with sales mix. He got diff pv after adding it. He said weighted avg which I didn’t get it there.
