How to find the whether the question is asking present value of annuity or future value of annuity?

For direct questions they will give in question itself. For practical questions you need to find the application of that, whether you need to find what is the today's money if invested how much it is going to get at end of certain period is future value. On contrary, if you want to know tomorrow's value of money as of today you will discount it for present along with interest. Then use formula and solve more and more problems.

And also not mutually exclusive[ bcz P(Aâ?©B)â?  0} So Option C is right.

Given here is the relationship between two variables, x and u where u + 3x = 10. Similarly, the relationship between the other two variables, y, and v where 2y + 5v = 25. The coefficient of y on x is 0.80. Furthermore, what will be the coefficient on v on u? Can someone pls give the detailed solution?

Second last line, 10(10n-1)/9-n How is it equal to 10n+1 -9 When 10(10n-1) should be equal to 100n-10.

n here is to the power of 10. So, you have 10 x 10^n = 10^(n+1). That n+1 to power of 10 And then they have taken 9 in denominator outside
