How spliced price index came ? What is the formula ?

Take each value of old price index from 1990 and divide by 114.2 ( 1995 value ). You will get new values which will match with last column ie splice index number

First find out total 7 digit numbers that are possible which is 7! . Then subtract the numbers divisible by 5 which is 6! . You will get 4320 as the answer. Total numbers is 7 places and 7 numbers that's why 7! Divisible by 5 means last digit has to be 0 or 5. Here we have only 5 which is fixed in units place. Balance 6 numbers and 6 places which will give 6!. Trust this explains your query

Find the second part Let say Amount are 100A , 100B & 100C 100A * 4 * 5 /100 = 100B*4*6/100 = 100C*4*8/100 => 5A = 6B = 8C = k => A : B : C ::: k/5 : k/6 : k/8 => A : B : C ::: 24k : 20k : 15k 100A + 100B + 100C = 8829 => 2400k + 2000k + 1500k = 8829 => 5900K = 8829 => 2000k = (8829/5900) * 2000 = 2992.88 2nd Part = 2992.88 Rs Amount Interest 3591.46 718.29 2992.88 718.29 2244.66 718.29
