Narrative record simply means to write line by line in paragraphs and explain, just like you are narrating a story. Narrative notes consist of a written description of the system; they would detail what occurs in the system at each stage and would include any controls which operate at each stage. Thus its exhaustive. Since describes the whole system in a time frame, there is nothing to be added
