What is specific resolution and ordinary resolution?..in simple terms

Ordinary resolution means the total votes in favour of resolution should be more than the total votes cast against it. Whereas special resolution means the total votes in favour should be 3 times than the total votes cast against it eg total votes cast 100.. Voted in favor should be 75 or more in order to be pass a special resolution. Hope it is helpful
