In one illustration icai said that preliminary expenses are not shown in the B/S In another illustration icai said that preliminary expenses have been written off in line with AS... What is the correct adjustment

Sir in one que they deducted from surplus(p&l a/c) under R&S head And in another que they don't ...

In illustration 1 also , can we show like that sir .i.e not showing in p&l and deduct from surplus in R&S

Since you are preparing profit and loss, you need to show as an expense
