Yes
In this sum they haven't given bonus on shares issued for redeeming preference shares. And theres no mention in the question that bonus is not to be given.

They have just written note at the end of the answer that bonus is not given on preference shares so can we write that bonus is given and give bonus on preference shares as well

In Page no.7.35 , Specifically mentioned equity shares issued for redemption are not eligible for bonus.
