Redemption of preference shares

In this practical question no 1 can we convert 4,000 preference shares of rupees 10 each into fully paid preference shares and redeem them? In module they have only redeemed preference shares of worth rupees 1,80,000(18,000 shares*rupees 10)

Dharshini SankarYes we can redeem only fully paid shares. But can we convert those 4000 shares into fully paid and redeem them too?? This is my doubt And there is also no mention in question whether to redeem those 4000 shares or not??

Only Full paid up preference shares can be redeemed that's why they redeemed only 18000,12% preference shares ( i e 18000 shares Ã? rs 10 )
