If the total income exceeds 15 lakhs than 182 days criteria or in 4 years 365 days and 120 days would be applicable right? For clause (b) individuals

And if he only satisfies 120 days condition he will be treated as resident but not ordinary resident

Yes sir.. but in indigolearn lectures in residential status part the, that sir said only 120 days criteria is applicable and 365 days within 4 years is not to be considered

Sir has talked only about the substitution of day limit from 60 to 120 days

For indian citizen or indian origin who has income from foreign sources > Rs.15,00,000 then to be a resident => Assessee has to stay in India (365 days or more in 4 PPY +120 or more in PY)
