In case of person of Indian origin: IF non-foreign source TI > 15 lakh during the PY, then resident if any 1 condition is satisfied: (a) in India during the PY for a total period of â?¥ 182 days, OR (b) in India during the 4 years immediately preceding the PY for â?¥ 365 days AND â?¥ 120 days in PY Note: both the conditions are same as earlier, except "120 days" in (b) Note: IF non-foreign source TI â?¤ 15 lakh, then check only (a) as in case of other exceptions
