Section 139(8) states that in case of casual vacancy for auditor of a Govt. company, C&AG shall appoint auditor within 30 days of casual vacancy: But in case C&AG doesn't fill the vacancy within 30 days of vacancy the proviso to the same sub-section states "the Board of Directors shall fill the vacancy within next 30 days".
