Both Competitive Landscape and Strategic Group Management involve identifying Competitors in order to determine their strengths and weaknesses and exploit them. With the only possible difference being the procedure for constructing SGM. Are there any more differences like when to use which one? Like here in book it says " strategic group mapping is suited when an industry has so many competitors that it is not practical to examine each one in the depth".
