Can I show retirement gratuity fund account as a "other non current liabilities" under non current liabilities

Sir in amalgamation question it was given "after amalgamating a contingent liability of selling company turned out to be an actual liability" I have taken assumption that contingent liability was paid by the purchasing company because we had to prepare balance sheet. Is it OK?
