If third party made an agreement with principal debtor to give time to debtor, surety is not discharged. But is it mandatory that that 3rd party has to communicate such agreement with surety.

First, surety is not discharged when an agreement is made between a third party and creditor to give additional time to principal debtor, next, it is not mandatory or no where said in the act that third party has to communicate the agreement with the surety
