A decreasing series is a sequence of numbers where each term is less than or equal to the preceding term. In other words, the terms in the series decrease as the sequence progresses.

An infinite series is a sum of infinitely many terms. It represents the sum of all terms in a sequence, starting from the first term to infinity.
