simple interest = 4 Principal = 9 no.of years = rate of interest..... So assume it as y Simple interest = ptr/100 So 4 = 9Ã?yÃ?y/100 Solve it you will get 20/3 as answer

S.I = pnr/100 4/9p=(p.r.r)/100 ==> since rate = period r^2 = 400/9 r=20/3
