A credit sale can either be a sale or agreement to sell depending upon the time when the property passes to the buyer. A sale may be executory in nature. It is not mandatory that delivery and payment of price are unimportant, in some situations the property passes at the time of delivery of goods. For classification into sale and agreement to sell, we see whether there's immediate transfer or a future transfer.
