In new scheme applicable from a.y 24-25 Whether pensioners ( govt teachers) can get standard deduction under new scheme ( recently announced budget)

As per my knowledge, there is no change in standard deduction of salaried or pensioners. But the additional point is, if the salary or pension is above Rs.15.5 lakh the standard deduction will be Rs.52,500 instead of Rs.50,000.
