Theoritical distribution

In ex 17.1 see second bit and its solution It is wrong Also in 17.2 getting 2 sundays out of 15 dates is 2/15 which I think because therd is a chance of 1st 8th and 15th dates being sunday

On 17.1 The second bit ICAI has solved it incorrectly. You should also add probabilities for 9th and 10th tosses. They did for 8 tosses only on 17.2 - the solution in ICAI material is correct - they are no where saying there are only 2 Sundays in 15 days. The question is specifically about the probability of getting exactly 2 Sundays and not at least 2 Sundays - the question talks about getting exactly 2 Sundays

If the question is exactly about 2 sundays then probability is 2 by 15 know sir

The question is not how many Sundays are there two weeks - it is a binomial distribution question in which you choose 15 days from a calendar at random and from those what is probability of getting 2 Sundays -
