Suppose branch in city A transfer stock to branch in city B and they have single registration in the state will it be supply ?

If it is single registration then it is not a supply

No , it would not be deemed as Supply. A DDP and Seperate Registration is mandatory to treat stock transfer as Supply.

Instead u/s 7(1)(c) Schedule 1 Para 2 ; stock transfer between two DDP ( Deemed Distinct Person ) ie...... Branches registered under same PAN shall be presumed as Supply and GST leviable. Hope ! This may help you clearly.
