Void agreements confusion

the concepts of marriage brokerage agreements and agreements in restraint of marriage (section 26) are a bit confusing for me. Can anyone please explain the difference between the two? Both are void agreements right?

Yes both these are void agreement why because the agreement which is opposed to public policy

Marriage brokerage is void because there is an issue which is related to dowry.. And restrain of marriage is stoppage of marriage contract without any legal reason..! That's all about it
