Sir, in theoretical terms, a firm normally adopts Expansion strategy at Growth stage; Stability strategy at Introdution and Maturity Stage Retrenchment or Combination stragy at Decline stage Is my understanding correct?

Yes. Sometimes growth may be adopted at introduction stage itself - e.g. Jio.

And also, Retrenchment strategy could be adopted at any stage depending on external environment and similar factors, right?

And also the reason why I think a firm adopts stability at Introduction, because it was just born yesterday and managers dont think expansion straight away.
