When will the auditor ask general written representation from mgmt ?

There are two â??typesâ?? of representations: (i) â??generalâ?? representations obtained from management, in which management acknowledges its responsibility and accountability for the financial statements; and, (ii) â??specificâ?? representations, which may provide audit evidence on certain assertions. The general written representation from management is signed following the completion of audit fieldwork, and before the financial statements are issued along with the auditor's opinion.

You can refer to the notes after the class. Also make short notes while listening to lectures.
