Electoral trust are the trusts approved by the CBDT . As the name suggests trust , these are the non-profit organizations which are formed for receiving donations or contributions from any person and distributing the same to POLITICAL PARTIES. The main purpose is to provide transparency in the flow of funds from Individual/entities to the Political parties. These trusts only provide funds to eligible political parties
