Bigger question which takes more than 5 steps wont come in exam but smaller and simpler questions should be solved. First complete chapter questions in all chapters and then go for additional questions.

Just solve those once for practice. Need not be for every lesson, for probability, TD, permutations and combinations, chap2 of stat there are lot of questions. Solve as much as u can to be comfortable with the concepts

No... you just prepare examples, illustrations. More complicated ones won't come as given in additional questions. If you have time after completing all the questions and revisions,then do..or else no need
