Changes to the CFA Program announced by the CFA Institute | #1FINUpdates

1. The new curriculum (2024) will be more practical and hence some basic topics (Time value of money, Basic stats, Micro Economics, etc) will move out of Level 1 as separate reference material
2. Self-paced learning modules on Finacial Modelling, Equity Research & Python / AI to be introduced in Level 1 & Level 2 | 10-15 hours | to be completed before results are announced | Implemented from 2024Note: As part of your enrollment for CFA with 1FIN, we currently provide Financial Modelling and Microsoft Excel as complementary courses for FREE. 
3. Specialization in Level 3 through choice of 3 electives (From Feb 2025)
   - Portfolio Management
   - Pvt Wealth mgmt
   - Private Markets
4. Improved Badging strategy (for better awareness & recognition) for Level 1 & Level 2 pass candidates
5. Additional paid mocks on the CFA Institute website across levels.

These changes come on the back of permitting undergrad students to appear for Level 1, 23 months before graduation. This update was announced last year. Yes, you can now take CFA Level I Exam in the second year of your B.Com / BBA.
