ICAI New Syllabus | Nov-23 Under Existing Scheme | Important Points

ICAI has officially announced that CA Inter and CA Final examinations in Nov-23 would be held in existing scheme.

Students should keep the following points in now.

Nov-23 exams would be held under the existing scheme only.
Students who were waiting to register with ICAI should immediately register and start preparation.
If you pass one group in existing scheme, benefit would be provided under new scheme
We expect new scheme to be applicable from May-24 examination onwards
Direct entry students should start articleship and not waste time.

sir I was about to give my both group in Nov 23 but now I like to skip this attempt and give my exam in may 24 should I need to fill conversation form it showing in my sSp portal??

You can convert. Else they will automatically convert.

You can write Group I in May-24. Set A SPOM after exams.

Sir i am going to give both group ca final in nov 23, what will happen if i could only clear one group in nov 23,will i have to give second group in new scheme in may 24 ? also what about the self paced modules then?

If you clear Group I in Nov-23, You need to give second group in May-24. SET A,C&D are exempt. Set B you can write after exams.

ICAI has not given clarity on this. Once it is officially announced, we will get to know.

sir if i give my inter group 1 in nov 23 in old scheme and cleared .what will the benefits in may 24 new scheme .can i give inter group 2 in may 2024 in new scheme or i have to give both group in may 24 again??

Yes. You can give remaining papers in May-24.

If a person clears group 1 and get 2-3 exemptions in group in nov 23 attempt. What should be done for the remaining 1-2 papers which is left in group 2? Now, if new syllabus has only 3 papers and in nov 23 attempt, he gets 3 exemptions which paper should he write in may 24 attempt?
