July 2020 Exams | An appeal to students

Dear Students,
We hope you and your families are safe and sound and you are giving the best possible efforts to your preparation. We all do agree that the year 2020 began on a different note and things have been tough for all of us.
For you, apart from the task of preparation in such difficult times, the lack of clarity regarding further postponement of examination would be making it more difficult. You may not be getting the best of environments to prepare as there could be some or other forms of disturbances at home. Students are also getting distracted on some reports/discussions on social media and news channels.
On the question that whether the examination would be further postponed or not, none of us (including the ICAI) would have a clear answer. The simple reason is unpredictability. Some students have suggested that exams should be merged with the November exams. Even if this is done, how would we be sure that the situations would be normal by November? Please wait for clarity from ICAI on the matter rather than speculating and discussing these with friends.
At this point in time, the best thing for you to do is to focus on your preparation to the extent possible. We acknowledge that it is not easy to prepare for a prolonged duration and we do get exhausted. Consider taking a break for some days as you would have already completed your syllabus. If you are undergoing articleship and are on exam leave, talk to your principal and maybe resume your work for somedays. You can get back to studies depending on the further announcements by ICAI. But do not leave your preparation thinking that examinations would be postponed.
If ICAI does not postpone the exams and you are not comfortable to write exams in the current situation, please consider dropping the attempt and take up the next one. Nothing is precious than one's health and life. Don't think too much into lost 6 months' time, exemptions lost, the last attempt of the old syllabus, etc. These are things that are not in our control. The more you think about these, the more disturbed you would be. Rather focus on your health, preparation and skill improvements.
These are tough times and remember, tough times do not last, tough people do!

There is a need that our professional institutes(CA/CS/CMA) must provide one 100 ml Sanitiser per each exam to each student.,if exams are conducted in July... Water bottles must be cleaned with dettol water Before starting of exam and at end of exam also And tables must be cleaned with sodium hypo chloride liquid&With Sanitiser spray And walls also Question papers and answer booklets also cleaned With anti bacterial liquids, They have to clean floors,iron gates,benches for every half an hour So in every room invigilator must allow the person after putting Sanitiser to hand and dettol water to hands&legs There are lot of complications Even in my house everyday we are using500 ml Sanitiser per day. Many of students are staying in hostels. Many students will use public transport to reach to exam centre.There is a possibility of getting infected with covid. Even if Sanitiser is sprayed on hands before entering into exam hall,There is already infection is there inside the body which may be spreaded.. So take decision wisely... And safeguard students, Country.. Better thing is not conduct exams till November... Merge this attempt with December 2020 attempt
I don't know, what is the final conclusion ?...... Will exams postponed or not. And also, what's the difference between postponement and cancellation of exams?
Thankyou for your motivation towards exams clarification. But, I always believe and see things that there is something good something positive hidden in it. Like in this if ICAI postpond exams for November then we students gets distracted and will procastinate thinking there is lot of time, I don't know about yours but it's mine problem. I think you should be prepared for every situation and cope up with ICAI rather seeing their decisions negative because I have seen that they are himself truly for student support and thinking from our point of view too. Oh so nice but how.dare you to say to drop.the exams...You won't support people.who are in tough condition..Don't you think.you are forcing us to study..See we are humans.. ok you are saying what will going to happen in November..my question what will be going to happen in July end bro...How the situation will be..is it will.be happy... Still there is time we are in 4 th place now...I assure you that we wil be in 2nd place on July 31...then what we can do.. Okk that time also you will say go and write... fantastic wow...nice...are you getting fees from students or from ICAI...bro...
They were supporting the people in tough times, you must be aware. They gave whole Foundation course for free of cost for a month. They extended all the courses for free of cost, when there was postponement of exams initially. They were not compelling students to go and write exams in this pandemic situations. If everything goes right, in the coming month and situations were controllable, definitely we will be the people going to lose. Because, our exams are going to be held in the month end of July. If ICAI didn't postpone exams, we will be going to lose an attempt. So, they were just motivating us to follow the right strategy by preparing for exams, until a further notification comes from ICAI.
